Changelog for October '22

Jakob Gillich

Welcome to the first ever edition of our monthly changelog. We launched at the beginning of last month, and since then we've been hard at work to bring you many new apps and improvements.

New apps#

We started with a total of 6 apps, and we've added 4 more in the last month:

  • Nextcloud, a file sync and collaboration platform. We are holding off on version 25 until some bugs are resolved, but the new version plus a review are coming soon!
  • NocoDB, a smart spreadsheet similar to Airtable.
  • Hasura, a easy GraphQL API that can be used with our and your own database(s).
  • Plausible, a cookie-less and GDPR-compliant web analytics tool.

We've also applied several version updates.

New nodes#

We've deployed new nodes using the latest AMD EPYC 7003 processors. Heavyweight apps like Nextcloud will be more responsive on faster hardware.

On October 30, our object storage service went down for several hours. Our monitoring system caught it right away, but as it happened in the middle of the night, a few hours went by before we resolved it. We've taken steps to make sure the issue does not happen again.

That's all for this month! If you have any suggestons or apps you'd like to see, please contact us through one of the links at the bottom.
